Personality ||
Altair is a silent young man, hardly talking and tends to stutter a lot on words, mainly due to originally being mute. This often makes him come up as rude or uncaring but he's really just shy and timid.
Altair's very kindhearted and caring, and he's very altruistic, obliged to help anyone alike, though this sometimes gets him into unexpected situations.
He's a very determined individual and hates to give up without trying, even if the situation seems obviously to his disadvantage. He's more likely to think his actions through unless provoked, where he then tends to be a bit rash.
Altair is selfless and somewhat overprotective, caring more about the lives of others rather than his own, which usually gets him into to things bigger than he wanted.
More or less, he prefers not to take any offensive action unless needed or it can't be helped. and will usually try to avoid a fight.
Altair finds it a bit difficult to make friends because of his shyness and also due to his previous occupation as a rogue. This causes him to be a bit nervous to new people, often leading him to be cautious.
He's quite naive and innocent, as he doesn't know much, he tends to be somewhat carefree and curious. He hates it when he's talked down to and when people try to show him up or prove him wrong but he's also quite gullible. He's not too confident about himself either.

Considering his past and that he doesn't know much more than what he knows, he dislikes talking about it.

*Since Altair's fusion with Mythos wasn't complete. Mythos' conscious still swirls, occasionally coming out, usually when Altair becomes provoked or enraged, occasionally when he's frustrated depending on the situation. Other times, he comes out when he feels Altair's life is in serious danger or when forcibly rendered unconscious, which easily allows Mythos' conscious to take over.
Mythos is much more aggressive and tends to be cold to others. He tends to be stoic and indifferent to most anything, and very tsundere.
He doesn't really care about the lives of others, even if they are friend's of Altair as he wants nothing to do with outside people.
He's very stubborn and reckless. He tends to to talk before thinking and disregards any ill consequences.
He's basically rage-mode if you will.
Fortunately, due to Altair's personality, Mythos doesn't come out often.

~~~ Background ~~~
Altair had no memory of his life. The first thing he knew was awaking in the bandit camp in the snowy mountains of Pandemoria. He was raised among the bandits as just a slave boy and blacksmith apprentice, working for the bandits under them, until they found the boy's talent in swordsmanship. He was then taken in by the bandit leader, adopting him as his son and trained him to be the successor of the camp. He became a formidable swordsman through his years in the harsh cold. His promise as a leader was clear.

But Altair wanted a different path. He loved the camp more than anything, as it was his life and only known family to him. But he longed to be a knight of Tunlio. His father, though he had long realized this path, drew against it. But Altair wouldn't give up. His father finally gave in to his requests, but in the form of a single duel. The duel was close, but Altair's determination allowed him to overcome his father, winning the duel.

Altair had then left the bandit camp, Pandemoria, and headed for Tunlio, in hopes of becoming part of the Dark Knights of Tunlio and to start a new life.

Myrrh was never someone of much notice. He was born mute, and was spoiled for it. But despite his parent's treatment, he was a determined child with dreams of becoming a swordsman. His father praised him dearly for that dream, training him with what he knew, hoping to find the boy a suitable teacher to train him. Along with the life of a country boy, Myrrh led an adventurous life.

Until disaster made its place here.

Myrrh met an injured Absol out in the meadows near his home. He couldn't bring it to help, so he cared for it himself. The Absol was a wrathful one, and he could care less that the boy took care of him. But two formed a mutual bond through the days of treatment. After Absol healed, the pokemon remained in the meadow, away from curious eyes but Myrrh continued to visit Absol, who he named Mythos, and their bond grew strong over time.

Sometime later, Myrrh was heading off towards the meadow, as usual, to see Mythos. He came only to find that the pokemon fending off a group of bandit men, trying to capture the Absol. Determined to protect Mythos form the bandits, Myrrh threw himself between the men and Absol in defence. Mythos however, decided to fight alongside the boy. But it was barely a fight before both were beaten, the situation seemed dire but the Myrrh still wanted to protect the Absol, despite the pokemon's cries to flee. As he rushed to strike another blow at the men, he was grabbed form behind and received a sharp blow to his head, rendering him unconscious. Mythos, enraged near to pure fury, leaped over next to Myrrh, protecting him. It was then their bond grew strong enough to allow them to merge into one, and granting him a voice. Their fusion was incomplete however, as Myrrh's state caused them to stay unresponsive, and Absol's rage threatened control over being. The boy awakened under Absol's influence, using new found strength the attack the men again, but only to be overtaken again, this time leaving him in a coma.

The bandits, now that their goal was taken by the fusion, took the boy now as what they were to capture, bringing him to the snowy country of Pandemoria...

He has a slight verbal tic to his speech. He tends to add “-sol/-soru” at the end of his sentences or important words
He's blind in his left eye from being struck there. Oddly though, Mythos seems to be able to see fine through both eyes.
The halberd is a parting gift from the bandit camp.
He's left-handed, but tries to hide it.
His secondary weapons are dual blades, but he normally just carries his halberd.
